Man, Guay on the PP is just automatic tonight. Him and Brabenec had a few nice passing plays tonight, one resulted in a save but would’ve been beautiful if he found the back of the net.
Not our best game by any means I don’t think, but we certainly played well enough to get the two points.
Ouelette should see some increased ice time over the next month while missing a few bodies, I hope to see him elevate his game…I believe he’s still waiting for his first goal.

JF Plante was just repeating what the Islanders said yesterday. They were the ones that announced Guay to be out for a significant amount of time with a upper body injury no doom here I infact said I’d rather all this happen now rather than March I know it’s east to target me like you always do but before doing that maybe you should in fact check your facts before coming on here pointing people out. Even smart asses like you are wrong sometimes! |

Yes every year I do report rumours that are being reported from Quebec media because if it wasn’t for Quebec media leaking rumours the trade talk on here would be silence. But I get it your a boring old sour man and like always it’s your way or the nothing.

Good to get the 2 points tonight, the next 2 will be tough for us with a depleted lineup but you can’t win them all. If they can go out and give an honest effort they will be alright.

Isles twitter account states he (Guay) is a gametime decision also Cormier and Brabanec are playing the sky didn't fall also take whatever Quebec based twitter geniuses speculate with a grain of salt..... only mention of 4-6 weeks for Simoneau coming from a Gatineau beat reporter Actually, J-F Plante does say Simoneau's injury would keep out of the game around 4 to 6 weeks. And adds that this timeline is the official line of thought. And that on a more factual side, Simoneau is evaluated on a weekly basis and could be back sooner than 4-6 weeks official evaluation  As for Quebec (...) geniuses, you should know JF Plante keeps track of many players from his area as he follows them from very early on. This is very far from anything close to speculation. |
