The Sea Dogs host two games this weekend at TD Station.
First up - a big game against the Charlottetown Islanders. The first place Islanders lost to the Titan last night so they want to get back in the win column. Same for the Dogs as they lost last Sunday in Victoriaville at the end of a 3 in 3 weekend. Both teams are missing pieces with the World Juniors. Evgeny Sapelnikov is in Denmark playing in Group A to help Belarus get back to the Main group. Dufour is in Calgary for Team Canada training camp.
The Islanders are missing people as well.
On Sunday Val D'or is in town finishing their 3 in 3. Hopefully the Dogs can capitalize on this schedule and take the win.
Any word on goaltending? Expecting Lemiuex to get the start. Backup?

Forgot to mention - tonight we should see Yan Kuznetsov in the Dogs lineup. #2.
With Despont out with Team Swiss - should be interesting how the D pairings go. Poirier with Kuznetsov?

Maybe Plandowski as well. I think he got 4 games last week. Not sure if his time is up though.

Need this game to gain ground on Charlottetown. Dufour will obviously be missed but they are missing more and played last night. Not to mention Kuznetsov should provide a boost.

This team needs to re group fast, before it is too late to catch up to the rest of the pack! Sloppy play tonight. It seemed like 3 quarters of the team was simply going through the motions.

This team is nowhere close to being a contender. Burns is useless with or without the puck Francis way too many turnovers villeneuve what can you say.I know these 3 won't be traded but Dwyer needs some accountability from the veterans. alot of holes to fill, anymore games like this and I'd be all for blowing up this team and playing the mem cup with 16 and 17 yr olds.

The inmates run the Asylum here. This core group has gone through four different head coaches and none of them have held them accountable for their lazy, sloppy play.
Or at least from what you see in public eye they dont. But whatever they do try hasnt worked, they just keep throwing them out there the next shift or next game.
