The Islanders head over to Halifax for a Wednesday night contest tonight. Halifax is on a two game winning streak, so they'll be wanting to continue their winning ways heading into the holidays.
Both teams are missing star power with Cormier and Desnoyers away at the World Junior tournament.
Game time is 7:00 PM.

Simoneau is still out and Boyd is finishing his suspension. Not sure if Brabenec has left yet for Edmonton either. I believe Attilio Biasca and Seena Peters from Halifax are also going to the world juniors with team Switzerland and team Austria. I would think they would all be in tonight but not for the weekend.
If we could beat Saint John while short staffed, hopefully we can win against Halifax.

Complete ass kicking tonight this team is impressive heading into the trade period if JH can add a legit top 6 and a 3rd liner this team is as good as any. Good to see Ouellette get his first Bowness had a goal . Thought Archinald had a nice game as well. Going forward Satny has to be the guy he is a legit starter there’s no doubt and he needs the games.

Off night for James I think but a great response by the Islanders. Glad to see Gallant get rewarded too, I don't think another player works harder every game.

Yes it was not a great game until the floodgates opened up in the 3rd and some really weak goaltending and defensive coverage allowed the Isles to pull away
Was nice to see the scoring spread out
thought young Jelley looked good for his first game as well
as for the chl app.... the free thing has never worked on my smart tv... last night i reinstalled it and actually subswcribed for the rest of the season (thus not really free) and it worked like a charm... did lose sound for half the second period but picture was great and i didn't care about losing the sound really lol
