Be interesting to see what happens with the Seadogs now that a player has tested positive. hopefully no more end up testing positive They have all tested negative but I'd still rather the team not risk two games for nothing. Especially since both games are against NB opponents and can be easily be made up later. In the case of the Saturday game, the game might even be made up at a time when there are fewer restrictions.

Apparently they did one round of testing of all the players yesterday and another today and all are negative. They'll likely do another round early tomorrow. With Moncton being the opponent, that certainly gives them more time.
I wonder if the player is Dufour. It just seems odd that they wouldn't all be considered close contacts and required to isolate unless it was someone that had been away. If it is Dufour you'd think the Sea Dogs would be pushing to have the game postponed though.

Based on timing, I have an idea on who it might be (though i can't explain close contact either)
If it is who I think it is, I expect two more cases tomorrow or Friday.

The Q is meeting this morning to discuss how to move forward.
Victoriaville doesn't think that playing is in the best interest of their region (and I highly doubt that they are the only team that feels this way).

Where did you read that because it's not in that Titter message you posted? Sorry, I may have misunderstand why they would have posted both together. Clearly, the rules set by Quebec do little to affect the Q. So I figured that Victoriaville being concerned suggested that they were concerned about the intent, not the dollars and cents.
