that's 3 of the 5 players we acquired with injuries:
Lapenna was at the game, didn't look appear to have any obvious injury so I'm hoping it's nothing serious.
Roy looked bad, team doc met him right at the doors when he got helped off the ice plus the the full brace doesn't give much faith that it's not going to be a major injury.
Saye took a major hit, had the ice on his shoulder at the end of the game. Hoping it's just a bit banged up.

total domination
Cormier is so good and his shot in unreal
Guay is also unreal right now
not good if the injury bug hits but better to get them out of the way now and have lots of time to recover

so I looked at the recap for the game and I'm curious as to what happened in the 3rd where all 5 players on the ice from both teams received misconducts? Anyone care to share what happened. I think this is the first I've heard of anything like that. Also seen a player from Victoriaville received a Discriminatory taunts, gestures and slurs penalty.....

Boyd got his elbow up on a Tiger player, which caused a Victo player or two to jump in…and then everybody got involved.

There were a number of big hits, things kind of seemed to be brewing a bit, and then as stated above, boyd elbowed a player and everyone jumped in and it became quite the scene. As for the penalty, I saw that player yelling at Kieran Gallant at the end of the scrum, not sure if that's where he got that from though. Didn't see a gesture. Actually went back and watched it on the chl tv app and I think it must have been something he said.

The Roy injury looked like a knee on knee hit to me from my view

That’s not sounding good for Roy. I bought he had Jen of his best periods in the 1st as an Islander we will need all hands in deck Monday so hopefully everyone is healthy we will obviously still be missing Elliott

Your announcers should practice pronouncing the names of the other team before the game. It’s not Teegra. The team has been in the league for decades. It’s pronounced Tig re. And on Gurionov he butchered it three times on the goal. It’s not Go ron ov. It’s Gu rion ov. It’s not Pre chi kov. It’s Prish che pov. The two of them must put on their Islander jersey before each game. The worst homer announcers in the Maritimes. But I’m sure they are doing a great job for Islander fans.

The main play by play guy Cory Arsenault wasn’t even there.. I’ve always felt the Isles play by play was the best in the maritime division and still feel that way. Obviously you had a bad experience listening last night but I’ve never felt them to be homers.. John Moore Bathurst play by play guy are by far bigger homers than The isles but I’m sure that’s just an opinion of mine.

Not much room for you to talk. Your announcers been around for what...years now...and still doesn't know how to Noah Laaouan's name... And I mean...hell...how hard is it to say Michael (not Mikael) Horth?

And I mean...hell...how hard is it to say Michael (not Mikael) Horth? Oh good someone else noticed it. Noah has been in the league for 5 years, on Maritime teams the whole time (meaning Bathurst has seen him a lot) and the guy still cannot say his name right. Drives me nuts. He also called Zach Roy "Ro-ee" as in the english way not the proper French way, which blew my mind because if you're a hockey person you should know how to pronounce it (ie Patrick Roy). Regardless I think all the play by play people make mistakes and realistically of course each teams home announcer has a bit of bias.
