Big save by bednar on isles pp Just after penalty ends lapierre snipes one i thought satny should have had Budgell left after getting hit by puck on bench unsure if he will be back hopefully he returns Satny shoulda had that one absolutely. I agree......he does seem to have settled down since then. Hard to place blame on him for the 2nd Titan goal. 4-2 Isles after two periods. Laaouan Budgell Simoneau Guay

Kieran Gallant has turned into a good player who plays with heart and grit.
As the 2nd period ended - they mentioned Norm Beck. Is that the same Norm Beck who was an incredible junior and university player and later a top referee?
If it's him - that guy is a legend!
Wow - even the band isn't too bad with the Neil Young sound. . .
I always liked Charlottetown.

Same guy….Norman “Schultz” Beck.
He doesn’t referee anymore and now that he’s retired as a school principal he does some work on the Islanders broadcast.

wow I gotta admit I did not expect a comeback in this one. I was really shocked our coach didn't pull Bednar with just over 2 minutes left in the offensive zone but I guess it worked out anyways. That was a huge face off win for Belgarde at the end leading to the tying goal.
Very entertaining game

The faceoff win with 30 seconds left got the Titan into OT. Big win by Belgarde.
Islanders had a chance to win it in OT with Guay in alone on a nice forward pass through skates from Simoneau.
Kidney made a nifty pass across to a wide-open LaFrance on the right side for the winner and he had all net. Kidney threaded that pass across with the precision of a vasectomyologist at the exact right time.
I thought the Islanders were the better team over the final two periods - but the score says different.
Islanders had the game with 30 seconds left - but - let it slip away. Full marks to the Titan.
Tourigny doesn't get as much mention as Cormier and Laaouan - but he can really move the puck.
Very entertaining day in Q Maritimes play.

With both teams missing key pieces today, was a fun game to watch.
Felt Bednar made a couple really good saves....that could have been goals.....but the big fella got to them. He played really well.
Looking forward to seeing these two teams battle it out with full lineups.
Satny did his job as the backup.....but he has to stop playing the puck as much as he does.
Isles are currently sitting 1st overall by 2pts with one game in hand.
Thought Horth and Gallant played well today.

Roy has a torn MCL, won't see him again for min 6 weeks probably. Came from a knee on knee along the boards apparently.
Hell of a goal at the end to tie it up, Bednar played well. Thought there was quite a few turn overs/missed passes for Charlottetown.

Thought there was quite a few turn overs/missed passes for Charlottetown. I agree. It seemed that they did turn the puck over a lot today.

For both teams today, there were more turnovers than usual. I believe that is a result of both teams maybe being forced to make plays faster. And if it happens often enough, players make plays faster than normal even if they have the time. They just anticipate they don’t have as much time as they do.

Tough loss being up 2 in third, Stany was shaky all game , Budgell losing draw on tying goal was bad but overall team played ok, Titan missing key players up front made game closer than should been. Isles need to clean up mistakes in own zone if want to make a long playoff push
