The Islanders will look to get back in the win column in a matchup with Halifax on Wednesday night.
Hopefully we see a few of the injured guys get back in the lineup.
Game time is 7:00 PM.

The Islanders don't seem to play down to the level of the opposition. The Moose are going to need to weather the storm and hope to keep it close heading into the 3rd. Always hard to stay out of the box as well when you're forever chasing a bit of a faster and better team. I can't see the Mooseheads winning the game - but no reason that they can't play a playoff style game - and make a game of it with good goaltending and burying your opportunities. Should be pretty good entertainment for a Wednesday night in February. The players must really like it when they have a well-known franchise like Halifax coming in - and all eyes tuned in to the only game on the Maritime schedule. All of the coaches and GM's and players on the other teams will be tuned in. Even the officials know they will be under a bigger microscope all game than usual. Give-'r-hell guys! It's 6 AM and I'm ready for this game right now!

Lapenna is "questionable" for tonight. Saye, Bowness, and Roy still out. Elliot's last day of suspension.
I guess the bright side of the games this weekend being postponed is it gives a chance for some of the above to heal up and hopefully be back in for the trip to Quebec in early March. Would be nice to have close to a full healthy roster when we face Shawinigan.

Plus L'Heureux is back in and he's always a handful. It's always good game when Charlottetown and Halifax meet. Excited to see this one tonight.

3-2 Isles after two periods.
Pretty sloppy play from the Isles.....turnovers and just sloppy passing....
Outshot 14-9 in that 2nd period.

Well...they won. Like the above, not super impressed with how they played though. Satny bailed them out a few times.
Halifax is fun to watch, they are definitely going to cause some problems come playoff time I think.

Is Saye injured as well or just a healthy scratch?

really was not a great game by the Isles
do have to say once again tho..... Patrick Leblanc has really stepped up his game being moved down the lineup.... i had initially thought he was a likely trade candidate or even waiver guy going into the trade period.... now i think he might be an overage option in the rebuild

With the injuries up front......Horth has stepped up into the lineup and has looked good doing so.

Yeah we might run into some great problems. Horth certainly hasn’t looked out of place on the top line, while Leblanc has continued producing on the third. Whenever Roy returns, he’ll take his spot back in the top 6 which would send both Horth and Leblanc to the 4th line. Along with Saye, who has played well, will make for a great 4th line.
