Trudeau was team captain last evening as the Habs Rookies played the Sabres rookies.
This kid is just going to get better and I fully believe that in time, he will be a full time NHL'er

Oliver Cooper - Belfast Giants
Cody Donaghey - Cardiff Devils
Carl Neill - Nottingham Panthers
Not everyone moves on to the NHL. Great for these guys to extend their career into their 20s, earn a living playing hockey, and see some of the world while they are at it.

One of the hardest working players we have ever had.... Sam King catching on with Wichita of the ECHL. Great for Sam. He didn't become a full time major junior player until 18. This is kind of an interesting one..... Former PEI Rocket Jordan Escott has signed on with the ECHL Newfoundland Growlers for the upcoming season. x.com/NLGrowlers/status/1707757207507349604?s=20After finishing his junior career playing Jr. A in Amherst, Escott played most of the next 8 or so years playing in various senior leagues in Newfoundland. The last couple of years the St John's native has played with the local pro team, the Growlers. The Growlers have done a great job making sure there are fan favourites in their lineup... guys like Escott, Zach O'Brien, James Melindy, Nathan Noel, Tyler Boland, Brett Budgell. Great to see Escott still playing hockey! |

The Montreal Canadiens have assigned Noah Laaouan and Xavier Simoneau to the Laval Rocket of the AHL.
Willy Trudeau survived the cuts and remains with the big club, with more cuts to come.
