great recap as always i do remember that Shawinigan series...... they didn't hammer us.... we just couldn't score I remember that series to. The Rocket were beat up but it was before the series started and lingered into the series. I remember hearing rumours of Paradise playing with a significant injury and I know for a fact cuz he’s a buddy of mine that Macisaac shouldn’t have been playing as well

Isn’t that also the year that Savard had an accident right at trading period around Christmas and we didn’t add nearly what people expected we would?

Yeah.... I forget the details of the series without looking up the specific game boxscores. Like I said, I was in DR for the road games and maybe missed the home dates as well. Saint John hammered us (other then the dramatic game 2 win over at Harbour Station). Huberdeau was a 16 y/o rookie that season and he really came into his own that playoff. great recap as always i do remember that Shawinigan series...... they didn't hammer us.... we just couldn't score

Just saw on the Moose broadcast that Jacob Goobie was named the QMJHL player of the week, and has some decent stats with Drummondville thus far.
His numbers are actually down from the first half with us, which was bound to happen going to a worse team, but seems like he has gone in stretches with a couple great games at a time.
We definitely needed to upgrade, but I know I’ll definitely keep an eye on him and hope he does well.

Just crazy really…guy was a walk on free agent, couldn’t get in the lineup, plays out of his normal position…fast forward a few years and he’s making his nhl debut playing forward. Good for Hunter, hope he makes the best out of it.
He had a decent little scrap too.

the least surprising part of his debut was seeing the 5 minute major under his name..... you just knew he was scrappin in his debut because you never know if there will be a game 2....
