Cormier listed as doubtful -day to day Simoneau week to week Boyd week to week Leblanc long term , if this trend keeps up we’re in trouble and it’s very Unfortunate

In games that Simoneau has missed, the slanders are 9-3-2-0 In games that Brabanec has missed, the Islanders are 6-2-2-0 In games that Roy has missed, the Islanders are 7-2-3-0 It's not all the doom and gloom that you make it out to be.

We are only 8 points up k. Bathurst and 10 on SJ of those teams remain healthy and our injuries keep our stats out longer than expected it’s not crazy to see both them teams pass us and how’s that being negative? Negative would be blaming the losses on a healthy team just losing I wouldn’t be surprised with these injuries that the 2 other strong teams catch us. Not being negative at all

Not being negative at all we're holding our own and still accumulating points not that much season left to think those teams will pass us.... is it possible? sure... but highly unlikely

It's such a tough field this year it would not surprise if we drop a bit. I have confidence in the team, but Simoneaux and Cormier are huge parts to be missing, especially on the PP as mentioned.
In the end though, if we are full healthy come playoffs that is all that really matters. Sure top seeding is nice, but it's not make or break in my opinion.

Not being negative at all No, but you tend to make things appear worse than they actually are. 8 and 10 points are a lot of ground to make up over 17 games. Not saying it can't or won't be done. Negative is also going on the Bathurst board and saying that the Titan run away with tonight's game. Lukas Cormier doubtful Simoneau week to week Boyd Week to week and Leblanc out long term Bathurst runs away with this one

Yes.... that's a lot of points to make up at any level. For sure it could happen, but it's unlikely.
The thing to remember too, is that there's likely at least a couple of times Saint John and Bathurst play one another. Every time that happens, one team wins but the other team does not get two points. That makes it tougher for BOTH teams to catch and pass us.
We've played well through this adversity.... but I'll hope, like everyone else, that we can be close to healthy for the playoff run.

The big question is going to be Leblanc's injury and how long "long term" is.
He will be absent for an extended amount of time. Will he be back for the playoffs?

Hearing things weren’t too good for Leblanc, I’m not sure we see him again…but who knows what happens.
As for the injuries, as long as we’re healthy for playoffs then it doesn’t overly matter. Every team is playing a crazy amount of hockey in a short stretch here, if Cormier misses a week or two then it could end up helping in the long run.

I didn’t even see the play where he got hurt but that’s not good wish him the best Leblanc got nailed by the bench door vs Eagles on Saturday and it was a hit he was not suspecting, I would have to think a couple broken ribs by the way he got nailed. I remember thinking he won't be back however he did play a couple more shifts but that was it.
