If this keeps up we May slide all the way to 3rd or 4th in the conference if injury’s keep piling up Atta by, Negative Nelly..... In games that Simoneau has missed, the slanders are 9-3-2-0 In games that Brabanec has missed, the Islanders are 6-2-2-0 In games that Roy has missed, the Islanders are 7-2-3-0 It's not all the doom and gloom that you make it out to be. Totally agree. As a Titan fan I doubt the Titan can catch up. I think we’ve made up 3 points in the last 2 weeks. Not enough time left. The Islanders have a slightly easier schedule between now and the end of the season than Bathurst. If you think that Bathurst and SJ split their games against each other, that helps you out again. And Hulton will not let the team play less than .600. Edit: However I do think we play each other 3 times before the end of the season....... hmmmmmm

Not broken ribs…hate to be that guy, but can’t say what I’ve heard as I have a good source. Just wish Patty a speedy recovery.

Might be a game for the ages if that game were to mean something. However, with such a condensed schedule, I'd expect the Islanders to rest some of their regulars if the game doesn't mean anything to them.
It looks as though Saint John has the easiest schedule, with 6 games against Cape Breton
Bathurst (16)
Moncton x 4 Rimouski x 2 Charlottetown x 2 Sherbrooke x 2
Saint John x 2 Halifax x 2 Gatineau x 1
Shawinigan x 1
Charlottetown (15)
Cape Breton x 3
Moncton x 3
Halifax x 2 Bathurst x 2 Rimouski x 2 Sherbrooke x 1 Saint John x 1 Baie-Comeau x 1
Saint John (14)
Cape Breton x 6 Moncton x 2
Bathurst x 2
Gatineau x 1 Quebec x 1 Charlottetown x 1 Sherbrooke x 1

I’m hoping the last game of the season is meaningful. It might be better entertainment than the first round of the playoffs.

that is a tough remainder of the season for the Titan...Only Moncton and Halifax would I consider likely to grab all 10 points from. Rimouski is an underrated team. The rest of the teams will be some hard fought hockey for 2 points....

Injury/Roster Update:
Ben Boyd is progressing nicely, but is still a few weeks away from returning.
Patrick LeBlanc remains out of the lineup indefinitely.

Elliott out of the lineup tonight due to injury. Not sure of his status.

Hopefully Elliott is able to go Thursday after his injury last night.
If not, I suppose we're relying on McQuaid being healthy and ready to get back in the lineup. Ben Boyd was supposed to be back on ice this week....it would be great if his return was soon.
The Charlottetown Knights guys are unavailable for this weekend (Arsenault, Jelley) as they are at the U18 Atlantics in Newfoundland. I guess they could use Beran Simard or bring over Topilnyckyj, but probably the priority would be getting a forward in the lineup rather than a blueliner.

Has there been any news on Leblanc? Do we know what exactly his injury is? He has not been around the rink at all.
Boyd has been absent the last few home game but had been around right after his injury in a sling.

Don’t expect to see Leblanc anytime soon.
Boyd was expected to make a return right around the start of playoffs, and someone stated he began skating this week.

Was nice to see Leblanc at the rink tonight. The way you keep vague posting about his injury I was worried he was unable to move or something.

He looked some sore standing on the ice last night. Didn’t look to be overly comfortable. I doubt you will see him the rest of the year u less the Isles go deep.

Ben Boyd is on the ice for the Isles Jamboree today. Obviously skating around with some tykes is quite far from playing playoff hockey, but a step in the right direction nonetheless.
