Last 2 games vs titan budgell has lost face offs that have caused isles the game in final seconds, Hulton needs to have Gallant next time

Tough loss…Atleast they got a point. Going to be tough sledding to score goals with our injuries, luckily we’ve got the defence/goalies to keep the other offences in check.

Sure would have been nice to see Stairs score on that ot breakaway
With the injuries we have its time for someone like him to step up IMO

Prized by whom? I always saw Stairs as a guy who makes 1 or 2 great plays that makes you say WOW, what a great player he’s going to be. But instead he turns invisible and you don’t see him for a few games.
That whole sequence was spectacular. Right after Stairs missed, the puck is shot up the ice and LaFrance has a breakaway. Lapenna made the first save and gets barrelled by his defenseman. Somehow the rebound gets stopped by Lapenna or hits the Dman and doesn’t go in. With Lapenna flat on the ice,the Dman on top of him and all that open net up top and the puck gets stopped. It was holding my breath for 15 seconds fully expecting a goal at one end then the other.
The whole game felt like a playoff game.

Stairs has always been 50/50 for me since watching him this season. He will get fancy with the puck at times and look like a solid player, then other times he doesn't skate and seems almost soft or lazy...for a team that's missing a scoring punch in Roy/Simoneau/Brabanec you'd think a guy like Stairs would step it up more but...
