Islanders vs. Sea Dogs - Mar. 18/22

The Islanders and Sea Dogs will play another Friday night tilt, but this time at Harbour Station.

We will be looking to avenge our loss on home ice from last weekend.

Game time is 7:00 PM.

Franky in net hopefully. He’s a stud there’s no doubt in the small sample size I’ve seen I think I take him over our 2 previous start goalies and that’s saying a lot. Hopefully Roy is back to give the boys a little added boost.

It’s to bad the isles couldn’t hold on that short handed goal killed us, we were lucky to get it tied back up and to get a point out of it.
These teams are neck and neck it would be a hell of a series if they play vs each other.

Cormier pinching on the pp and getting caught up ice was big reason shorty was scored, needs to read play and play Defense next time … overall lucky Lapenna was sharp , otherwise would have been a huge win for sea dogs, isles gotta tighten up defensive coverage in the cycling down low..

Exactly. Cormier has been burned a few times lately turning it over. Opposing team always seems to bury it.

Just looking at the standings and I noticed we are now 0-6 in OT/shootout games.

Kind of surprising with the talent we have, and we’d certainly be sitting comfortably atop of the standings if we win most of those.
