Rink upgrades

The new lights sure make things pretty bright inside the rink, although I do miss the lights going out at the start of the periods and when they score.

Did I also read somewhere there is another new scoreboard coming? This one isn’t all that old.

Anyone know of any other upgrades they are doing? I know the bathrooms in the lobby got an upgrade. But is there anymore In the works.

Heard the lights still have to be programmed, but they’ll eventually be back to black outs for intros, etc. Sounds like it’ll definitely be worth the wait.

Rumour has a new video scoreboard coming (I assume for next year) to replace this one. I would assume the one at the rink now would be shifted to the new Simmons probably?

As for any other rumours, there’s talk of maybe a new sound system but not sure how much that progressed.
