The Islanders are right back into things tonight. This is a very busy stretch of the schedule for all teams.
Tonight we are in Sydney for a matchup with the Eagles.
Game time is 7:00 PM. I will guess that Satny makes the start tonight, but that's just my guess... nothing confirmed. It would be great to see Roy return to action soon as well!

Lots of unexpected icetime as a result of these injuries for young Sam Bowness and Jarrett Todd that can only be helpful for the future
not sure i will group McQuaid in there as he still sees only sparing ice and being played out of position isn't probably doing him tremendous development favours but I also don't really expect him to develop into much anyhow

I think the injuries probably help McQuaid as well…rather than sitting in the press box, he’s seeing a little bit of ice time…the last game he seemed to get a decent amount (for a 4th liner out of position).
Personally, if he has a future with this team, I could see him transitioning to a forward full time. The next few years could see some pretty bad teams here. If he can learn to just chip the puck in deep, throw his body around, and drop the mitts when needed…maybe he plays his way into a 4th line role next year.

Maybe
But considering we essentially lose our entire blueline next year one would think hed have a better chance of cracking the depleted blueline

Plus he will be 19 next year rather not waste a 4th line role on an out of position player with zero chance of playing at 20…. But thats just me
