Saint John is back in town for another matchup this Thursday evening.
We've had a tough run against the dogs and we'll be looking to take two points from them.
Game time is 7:00 PM.

According to the Q site Roy is back tonight in the second line. Macquarie is scratched and Franky is starting a very welcome addition Roy will be!

While the Dogs are a good team no doubt, the last couple of games I found they had some lucky bounces these games can go either way. Hopefully a couple good bounces go our way tonight be nice to see Roy back in the lineup.

Assuming I am reading the playoff rules correctly, the easiest path for Charlottetown would be to finish 1st and have Saint John finished 3rd overall (or 2nd and 4th if 1 is Quebec and 3 is Bathurst). In those scenarios, Charlottetown would play Bathurst in round 2 and avoid SJ in round 3 (which if SJ wins 3 rounds automatically qualifies Charlottetown for the Memorial Cup).

Isles need to learn to play a 60 min game, these lapses and mistakes as in Cormier weak backhander causing the 4th goal for Sea dogs is unacceptable, overall lucky to win

Happy with the win, but not happy with how they played in the third. The Isles are luck the dogs didn’t come back and send this game to overtime. Boys didn’t even come out playing in the third what did they register like 4 shots. The game should have never gotten that close. Boys will have to really address that before the playoffs start. If they played a full 60 min the score would still be 5-2.
Again nice to know they can beat sj but they have to really play a full 60 min, played a solid 40min but almost lost it in the final 20.

Patty Guay joins the small list of rocket/islanders 40 goal scorers With 41 goals on the season, Guay needs 10 more goals in the remaining 18 games to set the franchise record for goals in a season. Laliberte is the only other Islander\Rocket to score 50 goals, and that was 15 years ago, in 2006-07

If he plays all the games and no injuries I think he does it with ease

Not gonna jynx it but i think he does too
I do remember the great effort to get to 50 made by josh currie where he needed 4 in the final game and wound up with 3
Lucas Cormier has already set the single season mark fir dmen and i think he may hit 30
