The Islanders are back in action on home ice with a pair of games agains Cape Breton this evening.
Game time tonight is 7:00 PM.

According to the lineup card on the Q website, Anton Topilnyckyj is listed in the lineup for tonight. Guessing that means we go 11-7.
I would say that Topilnyckyj would likely stay with us for the rest of the year? Not that we really need any D men, but it’ll give him a bit of experience while giving our top guns a little bit of rest. Throwing McQuaid out as the 12th forward a couple shifts a night isn’t doing anybody any good.

Anton Topilnyckji has been called-up for the weekend with the conclusion of the major midget season.
Oliver Satny will be getting both starts this weekend as his family is over for a visit from the Czech Republic!

Families of both Satny and Brabenec will be in attendance this weekend. Hopefully both guys have a great game tonight! Guay/Simoneau/Brabanec look great together tonight. Lots of nifty passes… Brabenec looks very good. He's just so clean and smooth on the ice....especially for this being his 1st season in North America. He's a good size kid too. 52pts in 47gp. Nice to see Bowness finally find someone to drop the mitts. Of course, it was with a fellow Islander. The 16yr old, PEI native, was drafted by the Isles in the 10th round last Summer. |
