It's a matchup between the conference leaders in Western and Eastern conferences.
Friday night we have Sherbrooke in town. So far they've had a tough go on this road trip, falling to both Saint John and Bathurst. They will be looking to salvage some points in their last stop on the trip.
Game time is 7:30.

The Islanders could set a franchise record for points in a season with a win tonight. The current record is 96, set by the 2016-17 Islanders. Before that, the last team to get over 90 points was the 2003-04 Rocket , with 91.

Down 3-0 hopefully they get it going. Last 2 games have given up a pile of odd man rushes. Sherbrooke is very aggressive and fast paced

3 goals on 8 shots is not good enough in these must win games.
This team is at the end of a 3 game Maritime swing. They should tire. Have to pour it on.

Boys must’ve been out in the town last night celebrating the 50 for Guay. They look terrible out there nothing going for them just one of those nights

A few stretches of shitty play, but not even playing completely terrible. All 4 goals were soft, gotta have them in games like these

The first goal was a very unlucky bounce and the forth goal was really soft, but the other 2 were pretty good shots. I am disappointed in the play of Stairs and Saye and maybe I was expecting a lot more from stairs and for Saye coming here for some grit have not seen to much of it from him.
The isles are outshooting Sherbrooke but just can’t seem to get any bounces to go their way.
First place is slipping away few those losses to Moncton and Halifax and a couple games where they had the lead late and ended up loosing will cost them first place. Although be nice to see an Islanders vs Moncton playoff series.

Will take lots of chances in 3rd period. Tried a push late in 2nd and couldn’t get the bounces.
Ride the big guns hard. Can we drum out 4 goals in the 3rd?

Finally scored one with 8 min left a little to late for a comeback now. Sherbrooke is just to strong

Cannot believe they would send off Cormier for cross check when he basically had someone hanging off him all game long.
