We make our last trip over to Sydney this evening. I'm guessing they are probably back to Satny tonight.
I'm most curious about if any of our injured players will be back in the lineup tonight.... probably a little early to expect any of them back just yet.
Game time is 7:00 PM.

Would like to get Elliot back soon.
From what I hear, LeBlanc is probably finished for the year.....and the goal with Boyd is to have him back come playoff time.

I noticed that we had the Cormier/Laaouan pairing back at some point in the game Sunday. I think they were still shuffling the other 5 (including Simard) though. I wonder if we will see that again tonight.

Good thing that period is over.
Once again, they continue to outshoot their opponents, but seem to wait to score in bunches.....or when they feel they need to.
2-1 Eagles after 2 periods.
Guay with the Isles goal. His 52nd on the season
Isles outshooting the Eagles:

Another tight one vs. Cape Breton. We'll take those two points and head for home.
So we flip back into first place.... for now. We'll be cheering hard for Le Drakkar tomorrow night!

Patrick Guay gets his 100 point of the season and 53rd goal.
Kind of surprised an Islander didn't even get 1 of the 3 stars

But it wasn't their 20 y/o players who were the stars, which is sort of strange. Patrick Guay gets his 100 point of the season and 53rd goal. But it wasn't their 20 y/o players who were the stars, which is sort of strange. last home game for Cape Breton maybe? typically teams give their graduating players stars in their final home game Wasn't the last game but you'll never find logic in the 3 star selections of a junior hockey game 100% of the time. Don't know why most people even bother questioning it now...the stars are not always picked by the same people and don't always require logic when selecting. Some people only see the game through the lense of 1 team. And if asked to pick the stars...thats how they pick them. Sunday i'm sure it will be the 3 overagers. But its not like the entire crowd sticks around with anticipation of who the 3 stars are. It's a throw away honour at the end of a game that 95% of the crowd doesnt pay attention to and means nothing literally the second after the 3 players are announced and the lights turn off and everyone goes home.

yeah i didn't look just was makin an assumption
on the Q site it shows Patty Guay as first star so
but like Jack says i don't really know why anyone questions the 3 stars anymore they really mean very little

Aha...I looked at it last night and couldn't figure out why Carter McCloskey was first star...my guess is they put in #16 for CB instead of #16 for Charlottetown.
