If the rules are that you have to go through every shooter on your bench…..but if you are short a man due to injury (or say game misconduct, or say you only dressed 17 skaters) then you are allowed to bring back a previous shooter while the other team goes through their 18 guys……
I know if I were the coach, then suddenly the entire team would he jn the dressing room “hurt” and my only healthy players work be Guay, Budgell, Cormier, and Simoneau.
No disrespect to Sam Bowness…he’s had a great 16 y/o season for a guy who was a 10th round pick. But it could have come down to him Vs Auger (Moncton first shooter) to decide this game….and we could have lost the point…and we wouldn’t be playing for first place on Sunday.
Maybe a shootout loophole was exposed in the outcome of our fantastically wildly exciting game?
