Any chance we see Labelle or Pilote back for Thursday?

With how close the Cats have kept most of these games I think we might see 1 win but ultimately go out in 4 games.

According to the gamesheet, Labelle & Pilote are in. Looks like one will be scratched after warmup so I'd guess Labelle is testing the waters

Nice boost to the offense even if Labelle can only play on the powerplay and 4th line.

Well they picked a good year to make it best of 5. Boring game last night which is a shame because I watched game 2 and it was entertaining. I don't mind losses but Cats didn't play like a team fighting for their season.

Despite getting swept, lots of positives on the season. Can't wait to see how Morin, Muller, Mercier, Loshing and Auger progress over the next few years.

They have nice pieces going forward. The question is do they have a core of a contender or do they need more? I find their defense is close to what you need as a core, in nets, Filion has the talent but has not progressed as fast as anticipated. Up front there have some skill, but not enough, there is a need for impact talent and size as well as depth. I hope they don't pass on their Euro pick, that's a spot where a high end player should be available in the 20 range. Barbashev is a solid payer but will be 19 next year and Taibel is a solid player but I don't see big time upside there. Trade the one with most value and get a skilled 17 year old who could be a 1st liner at 18 or 19. They will need to hit with 2 of their 3 2nd rounders.
