There could be a 2nd round pick involved here, Bathurst needs picks. This could lighten the load a little on the body that needs to go back. I would say the Titan need support in net and help on the back end. Farrah or Pattengale and a 2nd? Is that enough?
Belgarde is from the Beauce, so heading back home so to speak for his last season makes sense, but it would likely take more then Belgarde to get Victo's first back. If this one is real it is very interesting indeed.

Belgarde's value is definitely pretty good, I can vouch he is an awesome two-way guy with size and really good on the faceoffs. He played a smaller role with us compared the when he was with Chicoutimi but playing top 6 for another good team as an OA he will definitely be a PPG player or more.
I expect a 2nd + for him. Flipping him for a 1st must mean we got multiple assets otherwise the Titan could've just moved him for a 1st as well.

Will Cape be passing on their 3rd overall import selection on Friday? And if so, does that mean Ivan and Repcik are on the roster some Sept?

They absolutely will not be passing on the 3rd overall pick. The hope is the player they pick will report. If not, only then does Ivan become an option. Ideally this should be a no brainer way to add an impact 17yr old. We can keep pretending we're a small market team never going to make any money or we can try investing in the product on the ice and see if winning translates to making some money. Rogers for years owned the Jays and spent no money and the country developed a ton of apathy towards the product and it lost money for years and was never close to ever playing competitively late into a season. But early 2010's or so they started investing in the product on the field and by 2015 the building was packed and the TV ratings were sky high. Yes we're not major league baseball and our owner isn't Rogers. But the analogy of someone with resources using those resources to change the narrative is valid and a good way to look at how we can proceed with a new mindset or keep drafting the Nemec's with no intent to ever play here. I know which route i'd like to see.

Even if you were planning on going with the 2 you have you should still use a 3rd overall and go after an attainable impact player. Or just pick who you hear Halifax wants

What is the rule on passing? I understood that you have to pass if you currently have 2 signed Euro's. You have to have an open roster spot in order to make a pick.

Ok, it was my understanding that the import had to be NHL drafted in order to get a 3rd selection.

Eagles announce FANFEST at the Fiddle, where fans can meet the #1 overall selection of the 2022 Draft. We have our guy and he will report, only question remains is who will it be?

Is there a euro prospect list for the upcoming import draft? Nope because it would basically be every 17/18/19yr old who isnt already CHL drafted (minus the banned countries players of course) The good thing is that there's a lot of hockey played in Europe so finding a good 17yr old high in the draft should be doable.
