Sylvain is really making this team his own. I don’t even know who we have anymore lol I'm honestly not gonna even try and guess what the hell he's trying to do cause I'm just straight up confused by some of these trades

So we're supposed to believe in this organization yet also believe 2 of our top 3 returning 16yr olds didnt want to be here and a 100 point overager didn't want to report.
Our European pick comes with zero commitment and an unknown dependant on where he ends up in the NHL draft.
All signs indicate we'll get who we want with #1 overall...does that also mean we'll get the 17th pick next year for him in 12 months time?
If I was someone on the fence to buying a season ticket commitment for this organization...what the hell are they doing to win me over with this?
We're rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic here right now. Trading corner stones for overagers to flip for late 1sts and giving up another key 16 for a 3rd rounder you can get as a throw in on a big ticket item at Xmas time.
What an embarrassing time for this franchise. 2 steps forward (#1 overall commiting to report) and 5 steps backwards (everything else)

He doesn’t build a team through the draft, he trades a boatload of picks for guys and makes useless trades that burn assets all the time. He consistently overpays in trades because of his poor drafting and the team has to trade to fill those holes. He’s basically done exactly what I was afraid of him doing, trading the young guys and abandoning the 05 age group… they’re not going to do this the right way, they’re going to try to trade their way into a championship and it isn’t going to end well.

Julien Hebert from Chicoutimi for a 6th round pick Oh great another 19-year old.....God this team I swear. Moving out average 19yr olds and paying to bring in average 19yr olds. This is what Bathurst fans seen for many years....trades for the sake of trades....not necessarily any clear direction when they're all added together outide of being able to say a lot of the team will be his but are they any better? I'd joke that the rebuild starting in 24-25 but we all know those 2024 1sts will be used to acquire rentals before then because they "gotta give us something to cheer for" as they will tell Jeremy Fraser in 6-12 months time.

I said all along this was my biggest fear. Moving out the 05's...and not even for 05 lol just kicking the can down the street on the entire age group basically. So its back to no direction and hoping they can trade their way to the top...then wonder why the fans could care less as the team won't develop in front of the fan base. 6 months of 1 good team can just make situations worse as Bathurst proved. Rebuild the right way...this is officially back to being a clusterfuck as we're spreading everything out and adding mediocre veterans while we do that.

I predict we get 6 months of service in return for 2 of those picks between now and then 2024 draft. We're going to trade to be average.
