It's the playoffs. The players deserve a GDT for every game IMO. It's the end of the line for a few of them after this series.
Observations:
Index: RIM 172; SJ 176. It isn't often that you'll see both teams break 170.
SOG: RIM 19; SJ 41. The game sheet showed 40-14.
Scoring Chances (Home Plate): RIM 12; SJ 26. That points to a lot of big saves by Hamrla.
PBW: RIM 69; SJ 78.
Hits: RIM 25; SJ 12. That's a big difference from the game sheet that shows it 37-27 Rimouski. The 25 hits is still a lot - and IMO - that is the way to try to beat the Sea Dogs.
O Zone Puck Possession: RIM 6:58; SJ 13:21. That's almost double for SJ with both teams having two PP opportunities. Whatever the Sea Dogs are doing - they should just keep doing it. No need to go back to the drawing board other than to try to get more traffic in front - and the last line change at home should help a lot.
Player Index RIM: 195 Hamrla; 191 Dumoulin. Good to see that goaltenders can lead in that department. Player Index SJ: 191 Both Villeneuve and Poirier.
TOI RIM: D Gauthier 29:51; F Dumoulin 24:32. TOI SJ: D Villeneuve 27:42; F Dufour 24:20.
+/-: RIM +1 x 5; SJ E x 13.
SOG: RIM 3 Brunet; SJ 7 Poirier.
Dangerous Scoring Chances: RIM 3 Dumoulin and Verreault; SJ 5 Ansons.
Faceoffs: RIM 9/12 Verreault; SJ 19/29 Lawrence.
Hits: RIM 5 Mathieu; SJ 3 Ansons. The 5 hits by Mathieu is much more realistic than the 11 he was awarded on the game sheet.
SBL: RIM 1 x 7 players; SJ 3 Sevigny and Burns.
Takeaways: RIM 10 Hamrla; SJ 11 Villeneuve.
I didn't see the game so can't really comment other than that.

What does PBW stand for? Edit - Puck battles won?
