Did I hear that right ? That this is Charlottetown's 4th trip in 5 years to the Semi's ? They have now made it to the third round of the playoffs in four of their past five playoffs (not including the 19-20 season with no playoffs).

So am I right in saying we get Sherbrooke, barring a major comeback or upset

Just want to congratulate the Islanders on another trip to the 3rd round. Doing it 4 times in 5 seasons is something most junior hockey clubs don't see as being possible, but with the proper coaching/trades/draft picks/free agents, Charlottetown has proven it can be done!
While tonight's game was much better and very entertaining, the Titan offense was completely shut down and was something I did not expect to this extreme.
goodluck in the next round and hopefully we see another Maritimes team get the cup! You guys deserve it.

Congratulations to the Islanders on their series win and moving on to the league semifinal. They were the dominant team over the three games, and it wasn't because the Titan were a weak opponent. The Titan had a higher than 170 index in all three games - and Game 3 was their best effort - but still wasnt't enough.
Observations:
Game 3: CI 3 @ AB 1 (F)
SOG: AB 40; CI 35
Scoring Chances (Home Plate): AB 25; CI 18
Team Index: AB 178; CI 186
Puck Battles won: AB 56; CI 59
Hits: AB 14; CI 11
Faceoffs: AB 40; CI 23
O Zone Puck Possession: AB 13:00; CI 11:41
The Titan did everything well - but they couldn't score. Everything stuck to Lapenna.
Player Index AB: 196 Gaudet; 193 Huckins Player Index CI: 232 Budgell; 212 Guay
TOI AB: D Tourigny 25:72; F Kidney 26:53 TOI CI: D Cormier 27:27; F Budgell 26:11
+/-: AB Even x 8 players; CI +3 Biakabutuka
SOG: AB 6 Melanson; CI 7 Cormier
Dangerous Scoring Chances: AB 4 Kidney and Melanson; CI 5 Guay
Faceoffs: AB 22/31 Belgarde; CI 8/16 Brabenec
Hits: AB 8 Melanson; CI 3 Laaouan
SBL: AB 6 Tourigny; CI 3 Cormier
Takeaways: AB 10 Bednar and Tourigny; CI 13 Cormier.
3 STARS: 1. Lapenna 2. Budgell 3. Melanson
Game Rating: ***** Came right down to the wire with an EN goal icing it.
Referee Rating: ***** (Jeff Hopkins and Maurice Leblanc) I would have preferred fewer PP opportunities - but I know it was a spirited game out there right from the puck drop and they needed to establish control early.
Attendance Rating: **** 1930 I figure that 1930 could be seen as a disappointment, but Covid has left the older fan with a lingering wariness that's going to take some time to get past. Call it making excuses - but I see it first hand in all sports and activities.
Eastlink Broadcast: ***** Very nicely done all around - presentation, camera work and broadcasting by Beardsley and Mavs. That's not their usual territory in Northern NB - and great to have them do it. There's a lot more to making it available than we see.
Bottom Line: On to the next round for the Islanders - and best of luck to the Titan players who will be moving on or aging out of the league.
There's a lot of people unhappy today about the Titan's effort and / or the outcome - but this is honestly the first time I've ever seen a series where the losing team has had a team index over 170 in all losses - and close to 180 in the final game. They were a very good team who lost to a great team. Hold your heads up guys. It was very clear to me that both teams played their hearts out - and their guts out.
I really liked the play of Plandowski watching him as a possible addition for a contender next season. He has good size and good numbers - especially for a guy used as a depth D-man. I think he's ready to play a huge role with somebody next season.

So unless Rimouski pulls off another upset, we will be facing Sherbrooke.
Sherbrooke have bested the Islanders in both games this season. Watching them at the Eastlink rink was something else, they move so well and it just seemed like everything connected for them.
Will be our toughest series

So IF the Islanders play Sherbrooke next. Who gets home ice advantage?
They are reseeding the teams but does the reseed reward Sherbrooke for winning their division? Or is it just record?
It's a best of 5. This is an important thing to know. If they still get a higher seed because of division win then Sherbrooke is opening on home ice no matter what happens in the Quebec-Rimouski series.
