How many players are left in camp? I assume it will mostly be rookies?

How many players are left in camp? I assume it will mostly be rookies? 16 guys left Islanders camp this morning, but the vets don't arrive until next Monday. So yeah, a rookie team but with a fair few older FAs.

Quiet first period, goal-filled second period.
Carl-Anthony Masse with a nice rebound, Alexandre Tessier does a spin-o-rama no-look beauty from the blue line, and Robbie Rutledge tips a shot from Anton Topilniyigkjfiekjgbhiorjbhioe.
Boden White nearly got one from a great no-look backhand feed by Lucas Romeo at the front of the goal.
Kevin Walker got absolutely robbed at one point.
Flanagan and Riff have been fantastic.

I had the game on but wasn't really paying too much attention. It's tough when there is no commentary. I re-watched the sequences leading up to all of the scoring from both teams.
It was the kind of wide open river hockey you expect from the pre-season. There's been little in the way of teaching so far. Guys are just out there showing their skills and what areas are strong in their game.
You can't help but notice Masse on the ice. He opened the scoring and was also on the ice for the other three goals. He also led the team with 5 shots on goal. He's not very big at 5'9" and 163 lb, but he plays that tenacious style where he's always in pursuit of the puck. I'm not sure of the back story on him. He is an 04 who was never drafted to a QMJHL team. This past season he played with College Notre-Dame and scored 14-24-38 in 39 games, third in team scoring behind #3 overall pick this year Maxim Masse (06) and Drummondville prospect Samuel Vachon (05). Of course, his 20-21 season was wiped out due to there being no season in the Quebec U18 league. Prior to that he played in a high school league. If he continues to generate offense he forces them to keep him around.
Masse played with Ross Campbell who also had a very good game.
Moncton had the significant shot advantage. Both goalies played well but Flanagan in particular looked very poised in the net.
The two teams are back in action Wednesday night.
