After a long layoff, the Islanders are back to pre-season action tonight.
This evening they host Cape Breton at the MacLauchlan Arena at UPEI. Game time is 7:00.

Game tonight was ‘ok’.
Best players tonight were Flanagan, Allen, Romeo, Morneau. Kearsey is gonna be a good player down the road. Rutledge gets a mention as well.
If it’s not finalized…I don’t see Wagner making this team, super slow, very soft on his skates.
I like the gritty guys, Anselmini, Murchinson.
With that said, it’s gonna be a long season.

They want Flanagan on the roster asap.......they just don't have room for him......as of now. Some of the Ontario FA's..seem to be good sized kids.....or am I wrong. I was going through players at camp on Elite Prospects a couple days ago.......and I was like, "there going to be a big team"...........was I way off or how did they look on ice......size why's. |
