Hamel and Bowness dropped the mitts.....and IMO, it would have been a good tilt and a good test for 17yr old Bowness.
Unfortunately the linesman jumped in asap and nothing happened.
2 mins each for roughing.
Hopefully they have another chance later this game.

Satny gave up 6 goals on 28 shots when they switched netminder.
Flanigan in goal now.
The 17yr old apparently has had a good camp.
From NB, but moved to PEI and played last with Kenny McDougall at The Mount.
Listed at 6'4
Around 210lbs
The Islanders, as mentioned from a lot on here, really want this kid on the team this year. Will be interesting what they do

Bowness who is usually game, can’t fight for shit. Hamel would of dummied him. Again just my opinion. Bowness was just 16 last season.....and was gaining good confidence late in the season. He of course would have worked on his fighting during the off season as well. Hamel has had much more experience dropping the mists and Is a tough SOB........I would have liked it so see how Bowness fared out. |
