Good game by the Islanders, the inexperience/young team got the Eagles back into it, the second goal for the eagles was awful bad line change right at the beach leading to a 2 on 0 into the zone. But with a rebuilding team and a few games in that is to be expected.
Biakabutuka had a solid first game back. If he stays till Christmas I am sure Isles will get a solid piece back for him.
Lapenna making huge saves yet again.
It will be a very different look once Lapenna is gone, every start he has kept the Islanders in the game and giving them a chance to win.
It will be interesting to see what happens over the next little bit.

Biakabutuka was a man amongst boys..
Unsure why Detroit didn't sign him to at least an AHL deal. Everything I read during camp was nothing but positive comments about his play during the Detroit camps.
Either way. Glad he's here... for now.
I've thought to myself that Brabenec has been very quiet so far. And I wouldn't disagree with anyone that feels that way.
Then I checked his stats and he quietly has put up 6pts in 4gp.
I get it that he's not playing with the skilled players that he was last season......I just feel that he has a lot more to give......then his 6pts in 4gp.
