The Islanders head into Sydney tonight to take on the Eagles. Cape Breton is still on the hunt for their first win so they will enter this game fairly motivated.
Jeremie Biakabatuka returns to the lineup tonight so it will be interesting to see which 20 y/o player is the odd man out for tonight.
Game time is 7:00.

Will Allen got a major+match for attempt to injure…is that an automatic suspension? don’t see anything listed on the website under the suspensions

bit surprising i guess it might be Lapenna next game then I think Lapenna dresses in 3/4ths of the games until Hulton finds a trade for him. Hulton is a competitive guy, (plus, he doesn't have his own first). He's going to approach this season, as a coach at least, like he's trying to win every game. And honestly why not? It's a weak division, no reason he can't win a good number of games.

Yeah Hulton the coach and Hulton the GM might have some arguments inside their head this year i don't disagree with you honestly..... i just figured this game would be a chance for him to get the kid a start to get his feet wet..... but i guess i'm wrong again hahaha

Michaud could be a diamond in the rough with good ice time. Great skater, sees the ice well imo. I also like Allen, I think he’s one of the best skaters we have this year.

Do you give the kid a start against a weaker team? Or do you dress your best goalie in a game you expect to win and give the kid a start in a game you might not expect to win? An argument can be made for either for sure.

Love seeing 16yr old Michaud on the top line. Michaud could be a diamond in the rough with good ice time. Great skater, sees the ice well imo. I also like Allen, I think he’s one of the best skaters we have this year. 2nd round pick 33rd overall..... hardly a diamond in the rough lol but yes very impressive start to his rookie season and on this squad he might get plenty of scoring opportunities
