Drummondville comes to town today to close up a three game road trip to the east coast. I felt the Islanders had a good showing in Moncton last night but just couldn't close things out in OT. Hopefully we see a better result today.
There are lots of familiar faces in the Volts lineup... Drew Elliott, Sam Oliver, Oscar Plandowski, Jacob Goobie... as well as local product Simon Hughes.
Today is Orange Jersey day. The Islanders will be wearing special orange jerseys in support of PEI's first nations groups.
Game time is 3:00.

Drew Elliot has not been playing, wondering if he is injured or did not make the team?
**EDit** Nevermind it seems he has a bad knee injury, how unfortunate

Michaud out with injury today and Todd a healthy scratch.
Lapenna starts and Satny is the backup.
Crickets on Nathan Mossey... unsure what is up with him now.

On a strong team last year todd found himself very much a regular to see him being healthy scratched multiple times on a team with so many rookie forwards is very disappointing

Boys needs to find their legs a bit, volts had the night off last night while the Isles played in Moncton I suspected the volts would have the get up and go right off the hop.
Must say though the Isles battle hard might be different when lepenna gets moved he is the backbone for sure.
Hopefully the goals start coming in the second period.
Surprised Allen has not seen much ice time in the first
Romeo is a big body be fun watching him develop.
Big second coming up
Go Isles Go

I was wondering if he got hurt, I didn’t notice him leave and really only seen him play 1 shift. But after hearing Hulton’s post game interview saying a few guys left with injuries.
Hopefully they are not to serious.

That was a fantastic display of Hulton hockey. They easily could've rolled over and died after things got tough in the first, but they pulled though.
This is going to be a fun rebuild to watch, they seemed to pick up a lot of really good guys for the team.
