What’s with the terrible scheduling? Three home games in one week two weeks ago, now again this week.
I guess one was a reschedule from Fiona, but still…it’s gonna be hard enough to get butts in the seats as it is, let alone 3 games in 4-5 days.
Saw CB has 3 home games this weekend too, Halifax did the other week…I don’t remember it always being this way?

The Hurricane threw a wrench into the scheduling a bit.
But the reality of how the Q does their schedule is that they're 100% all in on season ticket holders being what supports their business. You can't schedule 2-3 games over 5-6 days in 1 arena and expect the casual fans to go go all the games.
Reality is you're probably hoping they come out to 1 of the 3.
And lets be honest...there's almost no reason people are going out of their way to watch too many of these games. Here in CB we have a jersey retirement on Saturday and even that isnt moving tickets. Your team is rebuilding and i'm sure many without season tickets are not going to attend 3 games in a short period of time.
The only way 3 games in a short period of time is accepted by all fans is deep in the playoffs in a 2-3-2. But those are the times we live for as fans and why we follow teams in down years hoping for that playoff run with some excitement.

And no, I wouldn't be retiring it either. Chris is a great guy and local to the community here but he never had over 69 points and might not be in my top 3 of who to retire if I had to make a list...Fleury, Sheppard, and maybe a Dubois. This is just a weak attempt to sell some tickets and its not even doing that. But for our franchise retiring the number of a good but not great player is kind of par for the course for the last 15 years or so.

I believe they're also rescheduling for the Winter Games to use the facility in February. www.2023canadagames.ca/venues
