Thanks. Happy to see Ross Campbell called back up. I like what he brings to the ice. Energy, in your face style of hockey. Looking forward to seeing Nadeau in action. He's a 3rd pairing Dman, size, good mobility........and in all fairness to Vos.....Nadeau could easily replace him in the lineup on a regular basis.

Romeo, a 17yr old rookie now has 7 goals on the season. Having himself a great rookie season. Great shot and doesn't mind the physical play!!
Nadeau picks up his 1st pt as an Islander. He had an early big hit and showed his physical play during the game.
I like the 18yr old "Big Rig" already.
Topilnyckyj is continuing is strong play. Having himself a good game tonight so far.....a skilled 17yr old dman.
Isles win 7-3
Brabenec 2 Romeo Morneau Repcik Todd Biakabutuka

That was a great game. Big hits, bad blood, beautiful goals. What more could you ask for?

That was a pretty good game by two pretty bad teams
a little overblown on the new kid with one big hit but when you see almost no big hits anymore i guess those things stand out
personally i liked Kearsey's hit on Desroches much better
Thought Romeao, Morneau and of course Brabanec had great games up front..... Kersey, Topo and Biakabatuka led the way from the back end.... Franky was not tested much for the most part but did have a few good saves when Saint John was pressing late before they imploded with undisciplined penalties and handed us the win
Interesting interview with Trevor Birt between periods.... alluding to the scouting staff and the challenges when you are constantly picking outside the top round.... he did allude to the rebuild and that he feels we can get a couple firsts for some of our players this year
Biakabatuka keeps playing like he is gotta think he could be one
Brabanec would be the obvious other
Can't really see anyone else being worth that much unless a contender arises with major goaltending concerns i suppose

I thought Nadeau was solid for his first game.

I agree today but if Lapenna keeps strong play up and Hurtubise doesn't get healthy however as I was thinking a bit more I guess another name came to mind that maybe could fetch a first round pick .... Michael Horth

I think Horth is only 18 isn’t he? I would hang onto him for another year unless you get a deal you can’t refuse.
His progress over the past 2-3 years has been great…one more year and maybe he’s a top player. Although unlikely on what should be a shitty team next year.
