Thoughts on the recently acquired 18yr old forward Euro? Right now he has 3pts in his first 7gp. This kid has a great resume from his playing time in his home country Slovakia. Strong at the U18's. He had 1 goal in the 3 games played by Slovakia in the 21/22 World Juniors. www.eliteprospects.com/player/642637/peter-repcikHe just hasn't found his way In the CHL. I think the 18yr old has looked pretty good so far. Hopefully he has a good season under Hulton. |

Playing at the World Juniors for some of these countries isn’t a big achievement and unfortunately, Slovakia is one of those countries. They’re regularly sending kids from the NAHL and they even had a kid from the BCHL a few years ago. There’s 3rd and 4th liners in the CHL that are better then some kids playing for these countries but because they’re Euro’s everyone expects them to have more to give. Sometimes they just don’t. |

He's showing promise and effort out there. I think he'll turn it around once his confidence starts coming back to him.

He didn’t look great the first few games…tonight he looked like there’s definitely some potential in him. Hopefully Jim can pull that outta him.

This young guy has a good toobox, but just different from what we're used to with euro's. Probably the type of player who in his context managed well whitout being showed correctly.
He seems to require some good coaching and being taught to fit in a system, which he will have in CHA.
