Does anyone under the age of 70 actually think this adds anything to the atmosphere? To me it puts the crowd to sleep.

Does anyone under the age of 70 actually think this adds anything to the atmosphere? To me it puts the crowd to sleep. I'm well under 70 and enjoy it. It's actually unique for the CHL. Not something the cats are ever known for.

Not saying what they did before wasn’t awful as well LOL … IMO, they can’t get out of their own way - in game music has been bad for 20 plus years. Just play the same stuff they do at every other rink in North America … get the crowd and players pumped. It doesn’t need to be complicated.

Not saying what they did before wasn’t awful as well LOL … IMO, they can’t get out of their own way - in game music has been bad for 20 plus years. Just play the same stuff they do at every other rink in North America … get the crowd and players pumped. It doesn’t need to be complicated. 26 NHL cities have an organist. The crowd actually engages with the organ music. What I've personally noticed is in game promotions have taken abit of a back seat to the organ and I hope it stays this way for seasons to come.

I could live with it a couple of times a period - but I find they are overusing it. And looking around my section, I see few if any engaging with it …
