Maybe not full equality (Quebec is head and shoulders above everyone), but it seems like on any night any team can beat any team. Knowing full well that the situation will change in January, it’s been fun watching teams lower in the standings beat teams above them.
More so than any recent year, this parity is really evident, at least from my view point. Maybe this is a heads up to all the contenders that goaltending and especially elite goaltending might be more impactful than previous years. Strong goaltending can win games on their own. Might be important in games that are tighter than you would expect.
