New to the forum but super happy to find a place to talk about this team! Rough game last night but to be expected I suppose. Hopefully we can come out hungry and get a win tonight!
Anyone else going to the game?

I’m sure we go back to Boudreau tonight…kind of sad for Flanagan but I guess he did it to him self and can’t be trusted.
Must suck to have to watch a call up play the final few games.
Hopefully we can somehow keep the game close for the final home game before the break.

I'd guess Flanagan tonight. WRONG! Boudreau will get the start.

With Brabenec and Repcik at World Juniors we have all available bodies in the lineup.
Only question would be in goal with Frankie’s availability and whether to start Flanagan or Boudreau.

With the exception of that late goal with 11 seconds left, that was one solid period by the Islanders. Battled hard the whole period didn’t let up Sancy is actually better up front then on the backend he had a decent few shifts and using his size. Boudreau is playing better and tracking the puck one thing I noticed with him is he has a hell of a pass. He can hit players going up out of the zone nice and crisp. Hopefully they can keep it going in the second.

Flanagan did not too shabby when he came in. Maybe this is a turning point for him

Also Hulton was heated after that last call on Squires. He was giving it to the linesmen and Dorion. I remember last time Dorion reffed and Hulton was yelling at him then as well

Lots of bad/weak goals in the second period, what a dandy tilt by gallant probably the highlight of the night. I have no idea what the hell is going to happen when Frankie gets traded, not taken anything away fr Flanagan but first shot on net when he came in was a goal. There were a couple good chances the moose had that he got lucky on. Vos and sancy we’re flipping from forward to defence the whole game.
It’s going to be a long second half

I was certainly hoping for a strong second period but it was the complete opposite. I also thought Flanagan played solid for the hand he was dealt! Really hoping it's a turning point because I believe Lapenna will be traded.
