I think Melanson ends up winning the goal scoring race, as much as it pains me as a Mooseheads fan to say it.
He's played fewer games than the players above him and he's on fire with the Phoenix

Crazy that Melanson is now 9th in the league in scoring and has played around 9/10 less games than most of the guys above him…he is dominating and really has that scoring touch.
30 goals in 30 games now.
It’s still possible he hits the 50 mark which would equate to 20 goals in 29 games (assuming he plays all) the rest of the way, which would be pretty crazy on its own because he would have 50 goals in 59 games….
Hope he makes Seattle in the future if he keeps developing, can definitely see him as their 3rd line winger or something.

Sherbrooke's top 6 can score any shift it seems. Melanson scoring 50 goals before he hits 50 games is more than attainable with that lineup.

He likely could've been a 2nd/3rd rounder. |

With a goal last night, Melanson now tied with Alexandre Doucet for the goal scoring lead with 37. Of note - he has played 9 games less than Doucet.
Wonder how he will do tonight playing against the Titan!
