Nice to see the boys get the win. They looked like they really wanted this one after going down 3-1 in the first period. A tell tale sign for me was 3 guys winning races late in the game to beat out icing calls. Jim mentioned it in his interview post game.

yes the three icings negated capped off by Gallant potting the EN was a great sign of a team wanting to dig itself out of a hole and not going to be denied
i can get behind a team that doesn't win often when they play hard

The effort was there, that's for sure. It's great to see the team to get rewarded with a victory. I was worried when Hughes went out. He's likely one of our top offensive players so it would have been easy to fold the tent with him out of the lineup... but they didn't.
I was at the game last night... and the thing I notice is that they struggle with puck control.... lots of soft passes and bouncing pucks that result in dangerous turnovers. I know you can't fix that in 1-2 practices, but that's an area to work on each game.

I think it shows Charlottetown has some goals they want to reach & not happy with coasting out the season.
Get out of last in Maritimes.
Perhaps make playoffs.
Challenge to get above another playoff team in east.
Win the home games. Those can be dreadful when can't win in front of the fans who still show up.
Bonus for taking points away from a division opponent in the upper tier.

Robillard played well again....just giving up one 5 on 5 goal. Two came on the PP.
