The Islanders are back in action tonight to host the Moncton Wildcats.
At this point, we'll hope for a few bounces and some good luck and hopefully we can get some pucks in the net.
Game time is 7:00.

17yr old Ontario FA, Lucas Romeo, continues to have a strong rookie season.
He has size.
Toughness.
Skill.
Romeo now has 19pts in this his 36th game.
Game even at 3-3 mid 2nd period.

Big 2nd period for the Isles.
Down 3-1 after the opening period.....2PP goals for the Cats......the Isles scored 3 goals in the middle frame to give them a 4-3 lead.

Great second period by the Isles.
Great to see Romeo snag a goal along with marchon netting 2. Morneau what a player for his size definitely fun to watch him out there.
Hughes will be suspended for sure he has a match so that’s an automatic game or 2. It was a high hard hit no doubt.
Bowness completely laid out a cat nice clean hit. Good to see the boys throwing the weight around a little.
Robillard seems to be sliding all over the place tonight a lot of times out of position. But getting to job done as wel.
Should be a great third

Gallant scores into the empty net to give the Isles a 5-3 win over the Wildcats.
Down 3-1 after one......win 5-3.
Robillard played big making 32 out of 35 shots.

Hulton was heated tonight at the refs. Yelling as he left the ice after the first. Don't see him get upset very often.
Say what you want about this team but you can't say they ever give up. no quit in them.

I was watching this game online and turned it off when it was 3-1 Moncton. I switched to the Eagles-Titan game.
What happened at 19:37 of the 3rd period? 6 guys got misconducts including Cats captain. Anyone fill us in??

Say what you want about this team but you can't say they ever give up. no quit in them. As he should have been the officiating has been awful as of late Langill was brutal. Leblanc usually calls a lot and I am not sure he called 1 minor tonight. Hulton has been getting hot at the officials the last few home games but as well could have been frustration over the way the team has been playing and just building up. But officials sure have been awful. |
