We're up to 12th in GF.
We've basically seen an increase in offensive production from 6 of our top 9 forwards to boost it.

And that Beaulieu just wont back down! I love that kid! Shingarov has been soild in net! Hoping for a big win tonight!

Looking forward to what that PuckGuru has to say tonight. Probably the most negative and defensive person on these boards. Constantly addressing coaching issues as if he knows more than the guy behind the bench... Well tell you what, I just watched SJ give up two odd man rushes on the Powerplay... Quite sure that's not what coach Lee had drawn up... Players need to take responsibility on somethings as well... Or we could just sit back and enjoy the game like normal spectators. Cause that's what you are PuckGuru, just a spectator. No need for negativity.

Ok guys, it was a rough game. I am sure the coaches gave them all a talking to after the game and made them work out or do laps or something to teach them a lesson. Again its a young team and this stuff is going to happen. The thing is they have to learn from it. Friday night is a new game. Sure its a hard weekend in front of them but lets hope for some good hockey and a couple close games.

I was very disappointed in last nights game - probably the most disappointed in my time in Saint John.
I thought the kids worked hard and I am seeing some improvement in most of the players. My problem is the coaching. I cannot believe that they are implementing the "Trap" for a bunch of kids who are working very hard to learn to be offensive and defensive, as well as being aggressive in forechecking and backchecking. When they lost control of the puck in the offensive zone, we ended up with one player in our own end, one player on our blueline, and three across centre ice. All of these players were basically stationary waiting for the other team to start their attack. Two of last night's goals were scored when a mobile player from Shawinigan beat a SeaDog player one on one as our player was stationary. This is not a system where are players are not learning much of anything. They don't get into forechecking, they don't know any other plays in their won end, and most of all this system really stifles a players ingenuity, aggressiveness, etc while waiting for the other team to dictate pace of play. I am afraid of the future for this team and this group of players.

Who's fault is it when the top pp unit is left on the ice after a 90 second shift no wonder they gave up two breakaways they were gassed. I hate the trap speed beats it every time everyone is to stationary.
