Brady Burns is one goal shy of tying Michael Kirkpatrick for the Franchise Goals record. Assuming he passes it in the coming games and the coach doesn’t bench him for the rest of the season, do you think they empty the bench for this milestone? Be interesting to see. I think he deserves it.

So Brady has somehow offended you? 1) The +/- you quoted was wrong when you posted it. He's also only been bottom 5 on the team in +/- once in his career (his rookie year). 2) It's heavily influenced by playing on a 17th place team and a team currently in 17th. He's not a centre. |

Jeez, what ruffled your feathers. Couldn't be happy for a guy breaking a long standing record. Sure seems to play at both end of the rink during the games I have seen. Hopefully he can ignore people like you who only want to try and be negative. Be happy for the kid, it is a huge accomplishment. |

He's not a full time C but he has taken about 580 faceoffs over 5 seasons & rates ~43% as reported. The other data is also accurate. Yes he played on some very bad SJ teams. So did some others his same draft year. His CORSI and +/- was significantly worse, take that for what it's worth. He's a great offensive player. His numbers prove that. No debate. |
