Ok everyone, What are your thoughts on this weekends games?
I think we are in for a hard one on Friday but Saturday and Monday are games we have a good shot at winning!

Kudos to the organization for coming up with an entire weekend that surrounds the three games. It would be easy to just have the games and say "come on out for these three hockey games", but to have world-renowned entertainment from Las Vegas being brought in along with an entire day (Sunday) of events at TD Station shows they are really thinking outside of the box.

Bit strange to see Akkouche up front two games in a row, but he played decently last game. I expect a blow out given the talent and depth on Sherbrooke.
Also of note, they have a spectacular PP and we have a not so good PK.

I expected this game to not be close but certain players have to learn how to play defense Ellie has to be the worst player in our end that has ever wore a seadogs jersey. Did anyone notice the Sherbrooke coach put the top line out with a minute to go in the game up 6 goals.Gallant or Flynn would have jumped the glass to get at him.

I expected this game to not be close but certain players have to learn how to play defense Ellie has to be the worst player in our end that has ever wore a seadogs jersey. Did anyone notice the Sherbrooke coach put the top line out with a minute to go in the game up 6 goals.Gallant or Flynn would have jumped the glass to get at him. Depends on your top line. Theirs seemed to be willing to coast making it less problematic. |

Need a win today to keep close to CB and cha for last playoff spot. 3takes from sat Brideau looks promising for our future number 1. Do we practice the powerplay cause it's terrible. Why were LaForge and Ellie on the ice down a goal with a minute to go in the third.

My takes on the weekend.
Sherbooke was a hard game but also one of the top teams in the league. The boys played hard but just got out played by a much better team. Elton John ehh was Ok I guess
Saturday.
I think the boys played hard, something just did not click, or they just got outplayed. I like that we are not taking as many stupid penalitys but we are also not taking advantage of the powerplay.
I feel that we let 2 points slip away in that game.
Tina Turner, was better then Elton John in my books
Monday.
It was great to see a full house! I love that place when its rockin!
Another game just like Saturday. They played well especaily in the 3rd. But early on I felt like they kept trying to make some perfect pass threw 2 or 3 Islanders and every time it would get picked off and back down the other end. And again our Powerplay did not show up.
Lady GaGa was my fav of the 3.
All in all a great weekend for the City of Saint John, I feel like it was well put on and nice to see something for everyone. I was hoping we would have came out of this weekend with 2-4 points but lets hope for 4 next weekend in Cape Breton. If not I think we will be calling it a season soon!

Not looking good for the dogs lose today and they fall 8points behind CB once again it's a lack of a pp I swear they haven't practiced it all year it is horrendous.
