We will wrap up this trip with a visit to Shawinigan. Last night’s result was sort of expected….Sherbrooke is one of the top teams in the league.
Hopefully we can rebound and grab 2 points tonight.
They will be running on fumes….and we could have a depleted lineup from injuries and suspensions from last night.
Game time is 5:00 AST.

Hinkley and Bowness have both been previously suspended for accumulation of major penalties….so they both likely get a game. Plus Bowness was assessed a penalty for an additional fight in a stoppage…which is likely another game.
Plus Gallant got hurt late and may not be available. Todd has been hurt and Tessier remains out.
Could be a skeleton crew today!
It would be a good day to call in some reinforcements if possible!

It is good to see Bowness and Hinkley playing physical and dropping the mitts......but yeah, with the new rules, suspensions take place.
Have been impressed with the way Lyons has been playing.... as well as Hughes, Campbell and Morneau.

Maybe a good chance to get a look at Edouard Vincent from Trois-Rivieres if he is available today?

1-1 after the 1st period.
16yr old, Ross Campbell, picked up the Isles lone goal.
As of now, Ross sits with 11pts in this his 26th game.
Took some time after being called up from U18......but the rookie is settling in and his confidence on the ice shows that.
Grimes in goal for Isles.

Hughes gets the boot for fighting + aggressor.
Kieran got hit (delayed penalty) and then another Shawi player comes and gets him with the knee. Hughes steps in and drops the mitts with the unwilling Shawi player..
Still end up with the PP, I’m sure Hulton loves seeing his big guys sticking up for their teammates. I’m definitely liking that Hughes trade, should be a good player for us for the next 2 years

No need of all the fighting majors
getting suspended at the worst possible time in the season isn't showing leadership
watching the highlight package didn't do Dixon Grimes any favors either.... 6'4 maybe stand up and cover the top of the net and learn how to catch a puck
