I can't wait to see it if it happens! Agreed. Burns is a current Sea Dog (albeit not for much longer) and Huberdeau hadn't played for the Sea Dogs in 10 years. A few years from now most people won't care either way, unless they're too young to remember Huberdeau but old enough to remember Burns. There will be a few critics of course. Already saw some comments on Facebook pointing out how many more games Burns has played, as if they're the only ones that know that and the rest of need them to explain it to us. And for casual fans (for whom the number of games might not have been quite as obvious) the stats, including games played, were literally part of the post. They wouldn't want anyone that saw that post to conclude that Burns is the better player. 🙄 |

You must be referring to the Facebook group the "Saint John Sea Dogs 'Sham' Base Group" - they seem to bitch, moan, whine and put down players more than anything ..  |

Josh Lawrence needs 4 points to become the 2nd 300 point player to have played for SJ (Picard-Hooper)
As much as I want to see the team win as many games as possible, it would be really cool if Lawrence got 4 points against SJ on Friday and Burns got 2 or more.

I wouldn't say unfair criticism he has had his issues in the 5 yrs he has been here. But the record for most points is quite the accomplishment no matter how many games. I'm not the greatest Brady Burns fan but the last few games he has improved his defensive play and hasn't been whining to the the refs as much.

I agree im not the biggest Burns fan, and I think most of it is his whining. In a roll like this year he should be a roll model for the younger players.
