I’m counting on a goalie with the first selection. If they go a different direction I’m not sure what direction we will go in goal. There must be a plan because I am also confused and shocked. Massive kid and looks to put up decent points..
Played with Slovakia u18, almost point per game in the u20 league.
Then in 24 games with the same team in the Slovakia2 league (men’s league, second division I think?) put up 10 points in 24 points. Not bad for a 15-16y/o playing against grown men

They still have a pick to grab a goaltender.
Where players go in the Import Draft is not the same as regular drafts...
It's more about commitments then player ranking....imo.
But like any draft, nothing is a guarantee.

This could be a good one!” Always a crapshoot with the Euro draft too..maybe this kid had interest from a few teams and we had to snag him before them. I assume we’ll take a goalie with the second pick, maybe he was fully committed to the Isles and we didn’t have to worry about other teams taking him |

Seems kind of weird with the goalie pick, they haven’t posted anything else where they had a quote from Maruna, etc.
Stats don’t jump off the page but hopefully he’ll be a serviceable netminder for the next two years.
