Some thoughts after a 6-4 loss tonight.
This game 100% could've been won by us, we outplayed SJ big time and the time on attack was in our favor for sure, but MULTIPLE defensive collapses lead to multiple SJ goals...The D are going to need to be much better moving forward. There must've been at least 6 or 7 odd-man rushes...lots of pinches and being left out of position.
The offense is definitely there and 2 posts hit as well. Lallier would've scored a beauty had that went in instead of post.
Orr has incredible speed out there, I think he may be primed for a solid season. He looks more interested compared to last season. Let's hope it sticks.
Bishop's skating is also really good, he improved a lot in that area and was very noticeable tonight making plays I didn't expect.
Roelens is huge...lol having that long of a stick seemed almost unfair on some takeaways. He also won 25 out of 30 faceoffs which is incredible.
Fleming made some good saves even though having 6 scored against him. Can't really blame him on any of those.
hopefully they can even the home and home tomorrow night in SJ.
