The Islanders are back in action again tonight, with Halifax coming to town.
Game time is 7:30 for a Friday start.

Could be a huge win tonight if we can pull it off! With this team, I'm starting to believe anything is possible. But it won't be an easy one that's for sure!

It will be interesting to see who starts in goal for Halifax...
Either way, Halifax has a very dangerous offense.
Could be an upset....or a blowout.

ooof another game where we out shoot the opponent but lose. Scoring was an issue last year and still this year.
On the upside, nice to see Huckins get one. I think if it wasn't for Rousseau it would have been a different game.

Does Bickle need new contacts to see? Sitting right on the goal line...I can tell you...those shots would have passed most goalies. Especially Dumais. His shot is a thing of beauty. If it wasn't for their goalie it may have been a closer game. Personally I'm not mad at this game. The shot totals were there and it matched their effort for most of the game. Rousseau is just freaking that good! |

Entertaining game.
Another strong game from Rutledge I felt...he's a skilled big body up front.
They kept the physical play going which I'm sure was the plan heading into this game.
Romeo with a nice deflection in front to add to his goal totals..
Next 5 games on the road....

Great post bomber.
I really hope that Rutledge spends the rest of the year with the Isles.
He's shown how much he improved and he has shown that he can help this team. Now.
He's 19yrs old and he can play another season with Summerside next season as a 20yr old.
He has the size and skill, as mentioned, to be a contributer to this team, this season.
He throws his big body around and he has some soft hands around the net. His slick pass to Morneau this game was really nice.
He can play a regular shift in this league....and especially with this team.
