The word out of PEI is that Laine is retiring from hockey due to the possibility of early dementia. So sad but at least he's still healthy. He blames it on concussions.

I stopped getting excited about fights years ago. Seriously, what kind of a person thinks teens punching each other in the head is a good thing, is entertaining, or should be an accepted part of the game. ..... and I coach a contact sport. |

Hopefully, it is gone from junior hockey. Who cares about the pros.
