With the World U17’s starting on the Island tomorrow, I figured I’d start a thread asking who the top prospects for each team were
Obviously we kind of lucked out with the Canada Games here less than a year ago, so the Canadian names are a bit more familiar
Gavin McKenna
Brady Martin
Matthew Schaefer
Coke Reschny
A kid I liked from the Canada Games…goaltender Jack Ivankovic
Anybody have any insight on the other teams?

Hoping Conrad has a great showing and enjoys this experience! Especially playing here, on PE.

Definitely wishing Conrad good luck. He’s been great for us so far, if he has a great tournament it can only help his play going forward.
More than anyone else, I’m happy for Spider. Guy has been here since day one, does so much for the team and now he gets to work on the international stage. I’m not 100% sure, but I think he has worked with Hockey Canada before…but if not, there’s nobody more deserving. Getting to work with his old buddy Kevin Elliott too.

I’ve only been to 2 games with team Canada (red). But from what I can see so far, McKenna is a kid to watch. He’s an unbelievable skater and makes his presence known in every shift. If you haven’t been yet, it’s worth it just to go watch him play!
In 3 games he has 3 goals and 1 assist.
